Dublin Airport, Dublin Ireland

Pascal+Watson Architects designed Terminal 2 for the Dublin International Airport, completed in 2010. Circulation squeezes to a corridor that passes over an important roadway. The strict axis along this route connects the airplane departure sites with parking and metro connections. The project cost €600 million, though the airport saw less customers upon completion due to the economic downturn.

SOM designed a skybridge to connect to Terminal D. It has the same curvilinear form, but uses suspension cables. A vast skylight separates arrivals and departures in a clever saw.
