Twelve years since first opening its doors, the Classical Fashion House Hotel will cease operations on 23 February 2011. The closure of this hotel signals the final step in the rationalization by the N. Daskalantonakis Group of the hotel units in the Omonia Square area of central Athens.

In 1999, the largest Greek hotel group, pioneered a major investment programme in the Omonia area with the vision of contributing to upgrading, expanding and enhancing the hospitality sector in the Athens city centre.

The recent major refurbishment and relaunch of the Classical Fashion House, was regrettably not enough to overcome the negative downturn in the area surrounding the hotel during the past years. The N. Daskalantonakis Group has ensured that all hotel staff can be relocated within other hotels and offices of the Group.

Until 23 February, the hotel will remain fully operational and visitors are assured of the high quality services and facilities that have made the Daskalantonakis name synonymous with quality Greek hospitality.

All guests with confirmed reservations (arrival dates after 23 February) will have the choice of accommodation at the nearby Classical Athens Imperial in Karaiskaki Square or the Classical Baby Grand in Kotzia Square.
