Tadao Ando designed the 21_21 Design Sight building for the Miyake Foundation of Research. It opened in 2007.
Ando blends his sculptured concrete with geometric angles to glowing walls of glass. This augmentation of the landscape breaks our typical notion of walls and ceiling.
