The city of Lisbon transformed a run-down industrial area to the Parque das Nacoes for the 1998 Expo. The complex includes residential, Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre, the Fair complex, and the Oceanoario aquarium of Lisbon built in 1998.
A looming bridge crosses the the river Tejo to the contemporary architecture structures found here. Or it is also reached by the Oriente Station. A wonderful riverfront stretches across.
