Renzo Piano designed the
Zentrum Paul Klee museum in Bern Switzerland, completed in 2005. It contains hundreds of art works by Bauhaus artist
Paul Klee.
Similarly to his
California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, Piano shapes the structure of the building like waving hills. With the alps in the background, curing steel trusses sweep across the landscape. Metal shading devices cover a glass bar that runs through the shape.
