Fashion talk: Affordable everyday tops to wear

I have been doing some shopping lately, seeing as we are changing seasons here in Australia from summer to winter, there have been some great sales and bargains I have found.

I particularly like shopping for tops - it could be plain t-shirts, tops, dressy tops, jackets or cardigans. Love them all because they are a fashion item that I like to change a lot with different outfits.

I wanted to show you a few that I love, that are affordable and easy to get.

The first top I got is from Big W and it is the rib tee from the Emerson range and is under $10. I love the way this top feels, it is a beautiful cotton top and is has great length to it. This can be worn casual with a pair of jeans or dressed up under a jacket. Definitely a great top to buy in a few colours.

The next two tops I got at Coles from the mix range, both under $12 each. The first thing I noticed is that the material of these tops is thinner than I would normally wear, so they would be ideal for warmer weather. They wear comfortably, which is great and I really like that about them.

 

The last two tops are from Target. I absolutely love the skivvy top with short sleeves and have bought this one in the black too. It is great to wear under a jacket and it is long in length which I love. The black cardigan is a thinner material cardigan which I like for spring and autumn. It also has a great length to it and feels lightweight to wear.

So they are my affordable tops that I have purchased in the last few weeks. There really is some great fashion pieces you can find for great prices.

GOTH/VAMP FASHION

 Goth/Vamp fashion has been around forever. Some elements of this fashion became parts of our everyday looks and outfits, such as dark makeup, black nail polish, spiked shoes, purses, leather jackets. I was always attracted to a darkness and mystery of this style. This is my inspiration for today's post.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Nurti-Oil Serum Review

I like to add some serum to my hair after washing it, to give it a soft smooth finish and reduce frizziness.

After trying the Dove Nourishing oil care nurti-oil serum, I have found the perfect product and it is affordable.

The Dove Serum comes in a 40ml plastic see through bottle which I love as you can see how much product you have used and it has a pump, easy to use.

Dove says: The Dove Nourishing Oil Care Collection transforms dry, rough and frizzy hair into beautifully smooth hair that’s easier to manage and style.

Dove Weightless Nutri-Oils, now enriched with Argan Oil, penetrate hair rapidly to deeply nourish, instantly smooth frizz and revitalize shine without weighing hair down.

I love that I can apply this on damp hair ( I don't like applying serums to dry hair), I use about 2-3 pumps on my short hair and smooth it through my hair avoiding the roots. I find that it evenly spreads throughout my hair, it doesn't leave my hair feeling oily, but rather when my hair dries it is smooth, silky and manageable. 

It has argan oil which is a great ingredient for smoothing out the hair and controlling frizziness. It has a nice soft smell that I like too.

This is definitely a product I would repurchase and recommend, if you want smooth, shiny and non frizzy hair. The product itself is excellent value for $9.95aud available at supermarkets, selected pharmacies and Priceline.

GREY HAIR - NEW FASHION TREND OF 2012

Hello my dear friends!

Well, most of you know that I am obsesses with the hair:-)... and different hair looks.  This one is new and quite interesting. Apparently grey hair is becoming a biggest fashion trend of 2012. It is also very expensive to have your hair done in this color. Some hair places charge up to a $1,000!!! The shades range from light, almost blonde to purple and blue. See a few samples I picked for you. 

This one is classy and very sexy grey. LOL

Like this natural grey shade with maroon dress. But please, no grey eye brows:-)

Not sure if  I like Kate Moss' s take on grey hair. I think the key here is to make it look like you spend a million dollars on your hair. Her hair looks nearly close to "expensive". Sorry Kate:-)
